I read this book in about two weeks since I was also reading a couple more books at the same time.

Anyway, enjoy the review!

3.25/5 stars

Whew!

This book was oddly emotional. Them dying is in the title, but my subconscious kept waiting for a major plot twist.

This book had multiple perspectives chiming in form time to time. It was a nice break from the main story. We got to see how other people's lives are affected by Death Cast and they all sort of intersect together.

To be honest, the world was kind of unbelievable. There were just so many things available for Deckers (people who received the death alert) that it seems made up. I am of the opinion that books should feel real, even though they are not. This is an idea that not a lot of books have been written about, so this could be expected.

I appreciated the goodbyes and farewells. It motivates you to live your life to the fullest. After all, death is inevitable.

The thing I did not like was how it seemed to stretch out. It was a bit unbelievable how the boys managed to do all the stuff in 1 day even though there were time stamps. Maybe the author could have made the book shorter to keep its quality.

I think everyone should read this book because it teaches you how much you can miss out on life without ever realising. We don't have services like Death Cast. We should live everyday to the fullest.

Happy Reading!
